GroupM Recognised as a Certified Top Employer 2020

GroupM Recognised as a Certified Top Employer 2020

GroupM, WPP’s media investment group, is proud to announce that three of its EMEA markets have been officially recognized by the Top Employers Institute as a Top Employer 2020. GroupM Spain, Germany and the U.K. have each received this global honor.

Organizations certified as Top Employers dedicate themselves to providing the very best working environment for employees through their progressive “people-first” HR practices. GroupM Spain has now been recognized for seven consecutive years and GroupM U.K. for its fourth year in a row, while Germany is honored to be recognized for the first time.

“We could not be prouder of our teams in Spain, Germany and the U.K. for such a wonderful achievement,” GroupM Global Chief People Officer Jennifer Remling said. “This award is a real testament to our people who work tirelessly to make their workplaces more inclusive and stimulating, building a culture of support that fosters fulfilling work and professional growth. Congratulations to our teams in those countries.”

Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink says, “To become recognized as a Top Employer, an organization will have to prove that the implementation of their people strategies enriches the world of work of their employees. The certified participants are a shining example of a dedication to people practices as they continuously commit to empowering their employees for a better world of work. Congratulations!”

The Top Employers Institute Global Certification Program has certified and recognized more than 1,600 Top Employers in more than 119 countries/regions across five continents.

The annual international research undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices.

Crucial to the Top Employers process is that participating companies must complete a stringent research process and meet the required high standard in order to achieve the certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified GroupM U.K., Germany and Spain’s outstanding employee conditions and earned a coveted spot among a choice group of certified Top Employers.
